B-24D Liberator

Balsa wood model airplane kit by Guillows.
A great "Build 'n Show" display model of the U.S. bomber that was made in greater quantity than any other during WWII. Of all the European operations in which B-24s were involved, the initial raid on the Ploesti oil refinery in southern Romania on Aug. 1, 1943 was by far the most dramatic because it was heavily defended by anti-aircraft guns as well as squadrons of German Luftwaffe and Royal Rumanian Air Force Fighters. Of the 164 B-24s engaged, 53 were shot down or lost enroute, 23 were forced down and only 88 returned to base. “Jerk’s Natural”, the subject of this kit, was a Ploesti bomb group survivor. The kit contains parts and decals for a "J" model B-24. Wing Span: 48" Scale: 1/28 Min. Age: 14.

Beech T-34 Mentor Beech V-35 Bonanza Beech V-tail Bonanza

Beech T-34 Mentor

Balsa wood model airplane kit by Dumas.
Over 50 Laser Cut Parts.
The T-34 was the brainchild of Walter Beech, who developed it as the Beechcraft Model 45 private venture at a time when there was no defense budget for a new trainer model. Beech hoped to sell it as an economical alternative to the North American T-6/NJ Texan, then in use by all services of the U.S. military. The earlier versions of the T-34, dating from around the late 1940s to the 1950s, were piston-engined. These were eventually succeeded by the upgraded T-34C Turbo-Mentor, powered by a turboprop engine. The T-34 remains in service almost six decades after it was first designed.
Besides offering the cleanest laser cuts and most comprehensive plans of any free flight kit we provide the following quality features Hand Selected Balsa, Color Peel & Stick Decals, 5 inch Plastic Propeller, Full Size Plan, F.A.I. Tan II Rubber, Step by Step Instructions, Vacuum Molded Parts, Light Weight Colored Tissue. Min. Age: 12. Wing span 17".

DUM204 - $21.95

Beech V-35 Bonanza

Balsa wood model airplane kit by Dumas.
The Beechcraft Bonanza is an American general aviation aircraft introduced in 1947 by The Beech Aircraft Corporation of Wichita, Kansas. As of 2010, it is still being produced by Hawker Beechcraft, and has been in continuous production longer than any other airplane in history. More than 17,000 Bonanzas of all variants have been built. At the end of World War II, two all-metal aircraft emerged, the Model 35 Bonanza and the Cessna 195, that represented very different approaches to the premium-end of the postwar civil aviation market. The 35 Bonanza was more like the fighters developed during the war, featuring an easier-to-manage horizontally-opposed six cylinder engine, a rakishly streamlined shape, retractable nosewheel undercarriage (although the nosewheel initially was not steerable, or castering) and low-wing configuration.
Besides offering the cleanest laser cuts and most comprehensive plans of any free flight kit we provide many other quality features. Hand Selected Balsa, Color Peel and Stick Decals, 9 inch Plastic Propeller, Full Size Plan, F.A.I. Tan II Rubber, Step by Step Instructions, Vacuum Molded Parts, Light Weight Colored Tissue. Min. Age: 12. Wing span 30".
