Beech T-34 Mentor

Balsa wood model airplane kit by Dumas.
Over 50 Laser Cut Parts.
The T-34 was the brainchild of Walter Beech, who developed it as the Beechcraft Model 45 private venture at a time when there was no defense budget for a new trainer model. Beech hoped to sell it as an economical alternative to the North American T-6/NJ Texan, then in use by all services of the U.S. military. The earlier versions of the T-34, dating from around the late 1940s to the 1950s, were piston-engined. These were eventually succeeded by the upgraded T-34C Turbo-Mentor, powered by a turboprop engine. The T-34 remains in service almost six decades after it was first designed.
Besides offering the cleanest laser cuts and most comprehensive plans of any free flight kit we provide the following quality features Hand Selected Balsa, Color Peel & Stick Decals, 5 inch Plastic Propeller, Full Size Plan, F.A.I. Tan II Rubber, Step by Step Instructions, Vacuum Molded Parts, Light Weight Colored Tissue. Min. Age: 12. Wing span 17".

CA-12 Boomerang

Balsa wood model airplane kit by Dumas.
The CAC Boomerang was a World War II fighter aircraft designed and manufactured in Australia between 1942 and 1945. The Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation produced Boomerangs under the production contract numbers CA-12, CA-13, CA-14 and CA-19, with aircraft supplied under each subsequent contract incorporating modifications and improvements. The Boomerang is significant as the first combat aircraft designed and built in Australia. Test flights found that the CA-12 handled well. It was very well-armed, with two 20 mm cannon and four .303 calibre (7.7 mm) machine guns, all mounted in the short, thick wings. The Boomerang was also generously equipped with armour plating to protect the pilot. However, general performance was mediocre. Although lively at low level, performance fell away rapidly over 15,000 ft (4,600 m), and at the maximum speed of 265 knots (490 km/h) was not sufficient to make it an effective counter to the Zero.
Besides offering the cleanest laser cuts and most comprehensive plans of any free flight kit we provide many other quality features. Hand Selected Balsa, Color Peel and Stick Decals, 9 inch Plastic Propeller, Full Size Plan, F.A.I. Tan II Rubber, Step by Step Instructions, Vacuum Molded Parts, Light Weight Colored Tissue. Min. Age: 12. Wing span 30".

The F-14 was introduced to the fleet on Oct. 14, 1972 and went to sea for the first time in operational deployment on Sept. 17, 1974. The F-14 is well known for its starring role in the movie “Top Gun”. Wing Span: 19" Scale: 1/40 Min. Age: 14.

F-4F Wildcat Fairchild PT-19 Fokker DR-1 Triplane

F-4F Wildcat

Balsa wood model airplane kit by Dumas.
Over 60 Laser Cut Parts.
The Grumman F4F Wildcat was an American carrier-based fighter aircraft that began service with both the United States Navy and the British Royal Navy (as the Martlet) in 1940. First used in combat by the British in Europe, the Wildcat was the only effective fighter available to the United States Navy and Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater during the early part of World War II in 1941 and 1942. With a top speed of 318 mph (512 km/h), the Wildcat was outperformed by the faster and more nimble 331 mph (533 km/h) Mitsubishi A6M Zero, but its ruggedness, coupled with tactics such as the Thach Weave, resulted in an air combat kill-to-loss ratio of 5.9:1 in 1942 and 6.9:1 for the entire war. Lessons learned from the Wildcat were applied to the faster F6F Hellcat which could outperform the Zero on its own terms. The Wildcat continued to be built throughout the remainder of the war to serve on escort carriers, where larger and heavier fighters could not be used.
Besides offering the cleanest laser cuts and most comprehensive plans of any free flight kit we provide the following quality features Hand Selected Balsa, Color Peel & Stick Decals, 5 inch Plastic Propeller, Full Size Plan, F.A.I. Tan II Rubber, Step by Step Instructions, Vacuum Molded Parts, Light Weight Colored Tissue. Min. Age: 12. Wing span 17".

Fairchild PT-19

Balsa wood model airplane kit by Dumas.
Here is a classic model of the famous PT-19.
The Fairchild PT-19 was an American Fairchild Aircraft monoplane primary trainer aircraft that served with the United States Army Air Forces, RAF and RCAF during World War II. The PT-19 series was developed from the Fairchild M-62 when the USAAC first ordered the aircraft in 1940 as part of its expansion program. The cantilever low-wing monoplane with fixed landing gear and tailwheel design was based on a two-place, tandem seating, open cockpit arrangement. The simple but rugged construction included a fabric-covered welded steel tube fuselage. The remainder of the aircraft used plywood construction, with a plywood-sheathed center section, outer wing panels and tail assembly. The use of an inline engine allowed for a narrow frontal area which was ideal for visibility while the widely set-apart fixed landing gear allowed for solid and stable ground handling.
Besides offering the cleanest laser cuts and most comprehensive plans of any free flight kit we provide the following quality features: Hand Selected Balsa, Color Peel & Stick Decals, 5 inch Plastic Propeller, Full Size Plan, F.A.I. Tan II Rubber, Step by Step Instructions, Vacuum Molded Parts, Light Weight Colored Tissue. Min. Age: 12. Wing span 17".
